We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what we collect on torob and why, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).
What we collect
- Order data: name, email, phone, address, service details and photos you upload — used to plan, confirm and execute your order.
- Carrier applications: contact details, company, region and fleet information — used to evaluate and manage the carrier network.
- Contact messages: your message and contact details — used to answer your enquiry.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
- We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising scripts.
- Order lookups require both the order number and the booking email address.
Sharing with carriers
To fulfil your order, we share the minimum necessary details (address, contact, slot, item description/photos) with the assigned regional carrier. Carriers are contractually bound to confidentiality and data protection.
Retention & deletion
Order data is retained as required by Swiss commercial law (10 years for accounting records) and deleted afterwards. You can request deletion of non-accounting data at any time by writing to privacy@torob.ch.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at privacy@torob.ch.
