Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the torob platform and the services booked through it.
1. Scope
torob GmbH operates a platform for transport, disposal, moving and move-out cleaning services. Services are performed by independent regional carriers engaged by torob on your behalf.
2. Orders & prices
The flat rate shown at booking is binding for the selected package and add-ons. It covers loading, transport and proper disposal/recycling up to the package volume. Additional volume or effort discovered on site will be agreed with you before proceeding.
3. Appointments
Appointments are confirmed bindingly within minutes of your order. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 h before the slot. No-shows or blocked access may incur a CHF 80 dispatch fee.
4. Your obligations
- Ensure access to the pickup location (parking, lift, entry) at the agreed time.
- Only hand over items you are authorised to dispose of.
- Hazardous materials (asbestos, chemicals, paint, batteries) must be declared in advance — they are excluded from standard packages.
5. Liability & insurance
All carriers carry public liability insurance. torob is liable for damages according to Swiss law. Liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
6. Payment
Invoices are due within 10 days net. Business customers may be offered monthly consolidated invoicing.
7. Right of withdrawal
You may cancel free of charge up to 24 h before the agreed slot. After that, a dispatch fee of CHF 80 may apply.
8. Governing law
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zürich.
